Sheriff and jail records

The Live Oak County Sheriff’s Office is the documented county starting point for custody and booking-record routing. The Sheriff publishes 200 Larry R. Busby Drive, George West, Texas 78022, and 361-449-2271. The current county expunction information lists asheriff@loctx.org for the Sheriff and locjaillog@loctx.org for the Jail. Ask for the records custodian and confirm that an email address remains monitored. An older county notice lists 361-449-8041 as a direct jail number, so verify it before relying on it.

For a current status, use the Sheriff’s official page and its VINELink pointer. For an existing booking record, provide the full name, date range, arresting agency if known, and the specific document needed.

Agency and court routing

Use the arresting city department for an incident report and the Sheriff/Jail for county booking, release, transfer, or possible photo records. For a felony filing or disposition, contact the District Clerk, 301 Houston Street, Room 202, George West, Texas 78022, 361-449-2733 extension 2, DCOFFICE@loctx.org. Ask the relevant justice-of-the-peace, county, or municipal court about a lower-level matter.
